Russ had been tasked with getting the stamps for our
Christmas postcards this past year. “Sorry, it’s all they had,” he said when he
returned home. There was no need to apologize. The tiny colorful Hawaiian
shirts were sublime. Festive, even.

I disagree. My dad wears Hawaiian shirts every day all summer long and I love them on him.
